The Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council was contracted to do the LMS critical facility work on Lee, Collier, Glades and Hendry Counties. Sarasota County and Charlotte County were done by thier own in house GIS department. \par \par Because the SWFRPC did not produce those 2 counties critical facilities data, we can not attest to the accuracy of it. While the Charlotte County data apears to be accurate, the Sarasota County data has some blatant errors of which they admit, as in points falling far out in the water. The data here was the latest available they had at the time.\par \par \f1\par Data Description: \f0 Critical Facilities for Collier, Lee, Glades and Hendry\f1\par Data Name: \f0 lee_crit_fac\f1 .shp\f0 , gla_crit_fac\f1 .shp\f0 , hen_crit_fac\f1 .shp\f0 , col_crit_fac\f1 .shp\par Data Type: \f0 shape\f1\par Data Feature: \f0 point\f1\par Data Source: SWFRPC\par \f0 data projection: Geographic, NAD 83(Latitude Longitude)\f1\par \par \f0 note: The following fields do not appear in all 4 counties prepared by the SWFRPC(Glades, Hendry, Lee, Collier). There are numerous parks/subdivisions in our area and a hurricane can have a significant impact on them therefore, it was important for us to understand the number of mobile home spaces and RV spaces in these parks/subdivisions. Each county supplied us with a list of mobile parks and RV parks where the owner rents the space. We further supplimented this list with mobile home subdivision where the owner owns the space. These subdivisions where obtained through phone books, aerial photographs, phone calls and local knowledge. This data is in the mobile home directory on the CD\par \par Each shapefile has an accompaning dbf file which has all the MH & RV data. the dbf files are named the same as the shapefiles only ending in _data, for example the dbf file for the shapefile mhsara.shp is named mhsara_data.dbf. Join on the field mh_id. The fields in the data files are Name, Mh_spaces, Rv_spaces, Total, Address, City, Zip, Owner, Phone and mh_id.
